Magnum 21 trimaran
for sale. Constructed in 2004 this eye-catching craft can achieve stunning
levels of performance in both light and strong winds. Comfortable with a crew
of 4 (but max 8) this boat is extremely stable in most wind conditions with the
benefit of speed and almost zero chance of capsize ( unless sea state is
extreme). Unsinkable design with foam filled floats. Can easily be pulled up on
beach, with centre board up. A trailer-sailor, this boat is a dream to tow and
once you have the knack, easy to launch and recover. Rig / launch time is about
an hour with 2 people and recovery / break down c.40 minutes.
Construction: glass fibre, hull colour white;
Category C (for boats operating in coastal waters and large bays and lakes
with winds to Force 6, up to 27 knots, and significant seas 7 feet high)
Dimensions: 21 ft (6.4m) length; 14 ft (4.26m) beam,
when fully rigged; draught 1.4m when centre board down.
Equipment. Roller furling jib; fully battened main;
cruising shute; extending bowsprit; demountable rudder; Yamaha 8Hp 2 stroke
outboard; trailer (bearings replaced 2017); anchor, all running rigging; s/s
halyards (upgraded in 2016).
