This boat had spent most of its life as a passenger ferry at Salcombe and was then acquired by Powderham Castle as the Stewards boat at Star Point.I purchased the boat 8/9 years ago.I keep the boat on a trailer as it is only used at most half a dozen times a year, it is very easy to put on and off on the slip and I would manage single handed. The engine is always flushed with fresh water on return after each trip. The boat feels safe and is very roomy you comfortably seat 6/7 people or fish 4 spinning for Bass. It is very easy to drive and rides any chop and following sea well. There is a heavy duty PVC bespoke spray dodger fully fitted full length cover. The boat is still 80% original. It had a wheel at some time before my ownership, the spray dodger has a bronze folding frame and there is also an old brass/bronze bilge pump. The woodwork is almost all original mahogany the newest bench is macrocarpa. There was some ply panelling for and aft which I removed prior to the decks being replaced. I still have this but personally feel its not nice enough to go back. All the repairs have been carried out by a traditional boat builder. The remaining tasks listed will restore the boat to very high standard. The trailer is in very good condition I have replaced the wheel bearings, brakes and brake cables the winter before last and haven’t used the boat since. The boat and trailer are stored inside when not in use.The trailer has a professionally built 3m extending draw bar suitable for launching off the beach or at low water.Sadly I have not been able to use the boat for the last 3 seasons due to circumstance and have decided to let her go.Recent Repairs2017 New bow and stern decking fitted as well as Mahogany rear bench seat.Plywood strakes replaced aft.2019 New diesel lift pump and starter motor fitted ,new fuel tank fitted , new Sea Cock fitted and new Center bench seat fitted. New ply strakes aft.OutstandingFuel pipe from new tank , all the copper fuel pipe and brackets are included .The old tempory tank is still fitted so the engine runs.Varnish and or any paintwork. The rudder pintles will need replacing sometime in the future.I have described the above boat as accurately and as honestly as I am able but for your own peace of mind I would strongly advise that if you are interested in owning this boat you look at it before you bid.Viewing is welcome. Please message me if wish to view or have any questions.Social distancing please. For clarity this is collection only I can possibly deliver or assist with loading by further agreement .
