This is a sailing punt that I built to the plans I drawn up by John Millgate of West Mersea. It can be rowed, ( oars not provided but rowlocks are ) and steering is by paddle over the side pivoting on thole pins. ( Paddle not supplied )There is no trailer, and it is strictly collection only from PO11 Hayling Island, near Portsmouthgoogle West Mersea punts or look on facebook or youtube to have a look at them in actions.I built this last year but I am too heavy for it.if you google this you will find an article on the type…..smallboatsmonthly.com/article/milgate-duck-punt/Two buyers now have wasted my time and money asking me to relist – please ONLY BID if you are actually going to honour the contract and come and pick it up from near Portsmouth. You will need a trailer with an ability to carry a 16 foot boat. It is not safe to roof-rack it. Thanks in advance.

Hi Mervyn,Thanks for the question but it says in the listing, no paddles or oars, and the so called launching trolley is no good. Come with mast, boom, sail, and sprit pole, all cleats and ropes. Could do with some better thole pins though. Before you ask , its too heavy for a roof rack and 16 ft long in any case. Best Wishes
