This is a Newbridge Venturer with a nearly new advanced junk rig built by the master j/r sailmaker Scanes. The boat is designed to have an outboard in a well and still has this. However it also has a saildrive, with folding propeller, intended for a 6hp diesel which was removed. The boat has been extensively renovated by its ex boatyard owner and has new windows, externally painted in 2017, new cushions in 2015, improved insulation, separate toilet with chemical toilet, Origo 2 burner cooker, almost all new rigging and ball bearing blocks in 2016/17.Tapered mast, NASA instruments, LED Tricolour. Although she is very easy to sail and points pretty well (don’t believe the old guff about Junks not pointing, it depends upon the sail and this one is a beauty!) I am having to give up sailing for health reasons and old age! .
