Up for auction is a 1989 Newbridge Venturer bilge keeled sailing cruiser. I’ve owned the boat for about 5 years and moved it to the current location, slowly tried to improve the boat and achieved some things. It will require some bits finishing off but is a great boat with good room inside. The one improvement that I’ve started was the moving the outboard bracket to the centreline, this shouldn’t require to much to finish off and get up and running ie throttle cable and power. Will require the hull cleaned and anti fouled and other general maintenance but nothing major, this is definitely not a project boat but some one with time and effort to complete. There are no leaks and headlining is ok, has a sea toilet with a diverter valve to either discharge or a small holding tank. Comes with an old but useable main and Genoa, vhf radio and handheld not sure if working still three life jackets and handheld batter gps. Some other odds and ends. Definitely a basic boat but lots of potential. It is currently on a swing mooring at wells next the sea but am going to get it taken off the water and put in a boat compound. It is trailer capable think the weight is about 1.5 ton and will sit on its bilge keels and skeg if you wish to move it. I’m keeping the current mooring as will be putting a new boat on there but the harbour master office is very helpful if you wish to stay at wells. I’m putting the listing on for a fair but low price to reflect it’s age and the fact there is a bit of work to be done I have some more pictures and videos and happy to answer questions.I have added some extra pictures, some current and some from a few years ago. I have also contacted the harbour office at wells, as this mooring is paid for the rest of the year the boat can stay on the mooring until the new owner decides what they would like to do going forward, you will have to discuss with the harbour office if you wish to keep the boat at wells.
