Grab yourself a bargain it’s got to go!
3 former keepers have maintained and loved this vessel before you, and I’m sure many more will after you. Has a working fridge, which I built in from Waeco (£500), a new automatic bilge pump and a new secondary manual bilge pump. She has all new pump and hoses to the heads. Onboard battery electrics and separate mains hook up for shore power. All cabin lights are all LED. Flexi 30W Solar panel trickle charger. Absolutely stunning vintage bathroom lever arm pump tap (probably 1920’s). Made to measure mattress = Marine+® Memory Foam/Pocket Sprung Combination with DRY-Mat® Anti-Condensation Underlay from http://shipshapebedding.co.uk. Antifouled 15 months ago, new anodes etc.

Things to think about –
The top sides have rubs and scrapes which are unsightly, could do with a touch up. 3 of the 5 windows are very old, currently fine, but do not look tip top. The has had anchor chain rubs which I’ve filled but still needs tidying upThe bulb has gone on the anchor light the steam light could do with replacing Running rigging is good but the standing rigging is old furling head sail is old
Happy to teach any new yachtmen/women the ropes. This was my first yacht out of dinghyhood, bought in 2011 and love her every day since. Has crossed the channel 3 times last year, also used to liveaboard in Brighton (hence the addition of the fridge).
Bloody wonderful little boat. Best thing I ever bought but now it’s time to move on to new things.
Delivery – negotiable.
One of the lovely things about an old boat is all the history; see below a wonderful message I just received…
Just thought I email to let you know that my Dad, brother and I were the original owners 1974 – 2010!! The boat was bought as a Hull and deck and we fitted her out ourselves when living in Long Marston near Stratford on Avon.
We sailed her many places from NW Scotland to La Rochelle. She was launched in Gloucester and sailed one March in 1975/6? to Scotland against north easterlies and snow daily. She stayed for a time in Gareloch before coming south to Portland Harbour and then for the rest of the time Portsmouth. She has done countless trips across to Britanny and given many memories to children, Grand children, mates and girlfriends.”
and after a little to and fro we get this from another ebayer…
To continue the theme Jananda is the boat in which i wooed and won my wife whilst in the ownership of the guys who fitted her out. Unfortunately we already have two yachts or we would be buying her for sure. Many happy memories aboard and many adventures
