Information
and inventory of Nicholson 32 MK V

Nicholson 32
Mk v built in the late 60s by Camper & Nicholsons of Gosport in
Hampshire.  I purchased her about 4-5
years ago from Glasgow where the then owner had been refitting her ashore for
about 10 years – only when he launched her did he find out that her draught of
5.5 feet meant she would touch bottom in his local marina for much of the time
– hence a reluctant decision to sell.

During her
refit she underwent epoxy treatment to her bottom in the correct manner – I
have much history of works etc.  The
original Watermota Sea Panther had been replaced with a Volvo Penta which
required a major overhaul, instead the previous owner to me decided to return
her to an original spec Nicholson, to this end he purchased a used Sea Panther
and had this completely rebuilt – I was the first owner to use it.

All her
settee’s and cushions were re-covered and apart from some fading due to the
sun, are still in as new condition.  Her
interior woodwork was brought back to life and revarnished.  A new Canpa forehatch was fitted during this
refit, along with various other works.
New standing rigging, some running rigging, new chainplates and rudder
shoe also fitted at this time.  Total
rewire.   A thorough checking over, repaint and then
ready for launching.

Much
history, previous survey prior to major refit and original builders invoice,
Owners association information books, Original Lloyds registration blue
book.  Builders plans and diagrams,
receipts. etc. etc.

Fuel
capacity is approximately 70 litres in 1 tank situated beneath saloon
floor.  Water tank capacity is approx. 30
gallons situated alongside fuel tank.
All keeping weight low down as is seamanlike for ocean and distance
voyaging.

I have
reduced her price drastically from £16,750 to £7995 as I require
a quick sale,  but also as she does
require some deck paint and re-varnishing to her cockpit coamings etc. but
nothing to prevent or delay her immediate launching and sailing away.
