This Island Plastics 24 motor sailor was built by the Bristol Boat Company in 1986. Only six were built, as a rival to the Fisher 25.Steering is from the after deck by wheel from the fully enclosed wheelhouse. The wheelhouse is a good size with seating for the helmsman to port and further seating to starboard. There is good visibility from the wheelhouse.Going forward into the saloon there is headroom of around 5 ft 10 ins and with the table and seating area set to the side it is easy to move through the cabin. Newly fitted LED lighting.Beyond the wheelhouse the accommodation is well designed. It offers 4 berths in two cabins. The fore cabin has twin V berths. The marine toilet has its own compartment as can be seen. In the saloon the seating area with table converts to a double berth. The galley offers a 2-burner gas cooker with grill and oven and a stainless steel sink with cold water supply. There is ample storage provided for cutlery and food.Comes with newly fitted rigging in 2016. The boat has mainsail and foresail. VHF Radio with DSC, Compass, depth sounder and fish finder by Garmin. 12volt electrical system with two new marine batteries. Good condition inboard engine that is very reliable. The boat comes with a Portsmouth/Gosport non tidal free swinging harbour mooring (come and go when you please) costing only £600 a year.
