With sincere apologies to all serious bidders (especially ‘broadsservices1998 & jagdami-dcmecpy3) and all you watchers – I am relisting ‘Rosalie’ – on instructions from Ebay’s investigation team after another bidder abused Ebay’s bid retraction option in order to try and purchase her at a rate lower than they were prepared to pay.For Sale – ‘Rosalie’. My shallow draft, lifting (or swing) keel, trailer sailer. She is 16′ (4.85m) long x 7′ (2.1m) wide, and has wooden topsides with a fibreglass hull. She comes with 3 outboard motors – A Suzuki 4 in working order, and 2 x Evinrude Fisherman 6 4-stroke engines (c. 1970s). I had been using one Evinrude when it developed an engine fault, so I sourced another in order to use it for spares.Also includes, all rigging and sails, a new transom, portapotti, a 2 ring/grill gas cooker, battery with solar battery charger, lifebelt, lifejackets and bouyancy aids, fenders, hook-over ladder and numerous other bits and bobs. She has been off the water for a while whilst I have been trying to
refurbish her to original condition. There remains some more to do, but
I have run out of time to complete the job. She will need a new mast, some internal finishing and a paint job – but, apart from that, she
comes with everything needed to make her a useful and fun inshore day
boat – or minus the sails, an outboard powered river boat. She has been fully protected from the weather since being taken off the water.The trailer is pretty knackered but serviceable – checked over by a local garage, recoated with hammerite and new(ish) tyres last year.Available to tow away from King’s Lynn, Norfolk.
