Tamar 24 projectThis has great potential to any half handy man, She’s all grp so no wood to worry about other than internal joinery.I recently bought this to work on over winter but I loose my storage at the end of this month so she has to go.The cabin hood/cover was new only last year and cost £800 according to the boatyard I bought her from. You could be fooled into thinking she’s much bigger than she actually is with her center cockpit and fore and aft cabins, she’s a very safe and spacious boat for such short length. And they sell for half decent money in good condition. She has a three cylinder diesel inboard engine on a conventional shaft drive, I’m told it was running but I’ve not had chance to test it, so assume it doesn’t and everything that could be wrong is wrong to protect my feedback. The paint needs stripping off, I started but loosing my workshop put stop to that.Interior has been ruined by some do it all warrior! But it’s mainly stripped out anyway so a blank canvas you have.Sails and rigging are very good if I remember correctly there are four or five head sails and one mainsail (still on the boom). There is no trailer, but I can arrange a crane local to me for about £60 or if I have my gantry finished that I was halfway through it will be free to lift onto your trailer. She weighs about three ton. so get a good trailer.I will allow a couple of weeks for you to collect her given the limitations of transport etc, but please don’t mess me about I’ve got far too much on my plate to deal with all that.Post code LL574YYEnjoy,Phil.
