SSR registered Copland Fox Terrier – RESILIENCE. Was direct competitor to the Hunter Sonata. but never as widely sold. Was chosen in the fixed keel variant by the Royal Navy as a training yacht. This is the lifting keel variant which is being sold with a full roller trailer for easy transport, loading and unloading. It can easily be achieved with two people. I have done it alone but the raising of the mast is absolutely doable but is hard work and a bit scary if im honest. Two people can arrived and launch within 90 minutes without rushing. The trailer is insurance valued at £1900 alone. (Dont bleach or pressure wash as it damaged the fibres)Things that do need work/completion.Good clean outside and inside – careful as pressure washer may damage marine paints! The upholstery will need velcro tabs fitting for the seat backs. (I never used them)The rubbing strake needs varnishing or sanding old varnish off and then oiling.Electrics runs from a 12volt battery box (fitted). You may wish to tidying up clip the wiring. ( i haven’t powered it up and so cant guarantee it works but the NASA depth and the log certainly did last time i did round the islandThe internal cabinets at “eye” level i have removed and stored i my shed. They are complete but will need glueing as a a bit wobbly. i would also think they need varnishing. The internal marine ply flooring i dont use but will be included in the sale. The outboard was working perfectly when put into storage – may need flushing with new fuel. Super reliable two stroke long shaft with forwards and reverse gears. You may want to paint the “leg”The companionway include plywood wash boards – they need to be varnished but should have another 2-3 seasons in them. Keep and use as a pattern for the future.I would think that a competent DIYer should be able to complete the work in apx 5 full daysSo i am selling due to a back injury.
