For sale is our much-loved wooden Streaker dinghy. Streakers were designed by Jack Holt as a much lighter alternative to his popular Solo dinghy. They are nippy, light for moving round the dinghy park, easy to sail and can be tweaked far more than a Laser.
Our Streaker is an older example but still competitive in club racing with its Mylar sail.
Included with the boat, along with everything in the pictures;
– Road trailer with a cradle
– Mylar mainsail and sail bag
– All control lines leading aft including downhaul, outhaul and kicker
– Daggerboard and lifting rudder
– Top cover
Streakers are lovely boats with a great class association. They’re perfectly forgiving for brand new sailors, yet are technical enough for experienced sailors to tweak things like mast rake and main sheet configuration to sail competitively.
The boat is listed elsewhere so we reserve the right to withdraw from the auction.
