SY Born Free is a classic style sailing yacht. She was designed by the famed marine architect William Garden and with her sleek lines to aft, tall mast, proud bowsprit and flush deck she looks the jewel when anchored in any bay. Born Free is currently berthed in Neyland Marina, Pembrokeshire. She was delivered by professional crew to UK waters following a period of sailing the Sea of Cortez-Mexico by the current owner. She is a fantastic cruising boat and well set for long passages. Her deep full keel and weight offer comfortable passage when sailing in open water, her large sail area provides ample power and her over engineered structure give a sense of strength to her build.
Please note the price reflects her condition (ready to go but to regain the polished ‘classic yacht’ look she needs an external repaint, attention to brightwork and some minor repairs to the pilothouse wood work. A little TLC and she will look absolutely fantastic once more.
