Mirage 28 Yacht – Foxtrot

Blue fibre glass hull, with black anodised mast.
A pretty boat, dark blue & white, with black
anodised mast.
Very strong seaworthy boat and very easy to handle
and manoeuvre.
Nominally 5 berth, but 3 or 4 berth more comfortable.
Built in 1980, by Thames Marine.
Length overall 28’ 3”, Waterline 22’, Beam 9’ 2”,
Draft 3’ 6”.
Name: Foxtrot V. Small Ships Register 00692.Most were built for the flotilla trade, but she has
been privately owned since new. Stored ashore every winter.
Have owned & loved her for 14 years.
Currently on swinging mooring at Hayling Island Sailing Club
Plus – Inflatable Dinghy & outboard: Blue wind – 11’ x 5’ with rigid wooden floor, inflatable keel.
Yamaha 4 HP, 4 stroke out board, 6 years old, very reliable (Fibre glass cowling tatty, but serviceable).

double berth.
Saloon: 2 good settee berths, plus fifth berth
accessed under chart table (currently used as store for sails and other
equipment).

Galley: 2 ring gas cooker with grill & oven
(Plastimo Atlantic), stainless steel sink, fitted cool locker, storage lockers,
crockery rack, hangings for teapot, mugs and tea-towel, etc. Plus spice rack
and storage for glasses in saloon area.
Portable
equipment includes:5 fenders.
Boat hook.
Mains cable and multi socket for using shore power.
Deck brushes and cleaning equipment.
All necessary mooring lines, sheets and warps plus
spares.
Pans, cutlery, crockery, glasses etc.
