Sigma 33 OOD sailing yacht located in Lerwick marina, Shetland Islands.Many systems upgraded and replaced recently in preparation for offshore cruising. During 2020/2021 I sailed with my young family from the Shetland Islands, to Spain/Portugal, Madeira and the Azores, returning back to Shetland, with no issues. She is ready to go again!Excellent Volvo Penta D1-20 diesel engine, 60 Amp alternator. 1200 hrs, fully serviced. In 2020 I withdrew the prop shaft, repacked the stern gland, fitted new cutless bearing, new
engine coupling, rope cutter. Vetus 60l fuel tank with Racor filter. 2019, keel ground back to bare metal, and sealed with 4 coats of Jotuns HB 2-part epoxy.2020 rudder was removed for bearing replacement, and refitted. New standing rigging installed, made by Mast & Rigging Services (Inverkip) 2020. Rig mast inspection and Selden Furlex roller-furler unit overhauled in 2020, 2021 headsail and spinnaker sheet winch’s overhauled3 roller furling head sails and Mainsail with 3 reefing points.
