NO RESERVESlipper 42 bermudan rigged sloop. I bought Zephyr 5 years ago as a project, motored her from Jersey to Gosport where she was hauled ashore and has remained. I quickly found that I had no time to do her up due to work and having a young family and had the yard re-core the decks and fit new windows and chain plates. Subsequently I have bought a larger boat and am unable to spend any more time or money on Zephyr.Despite appearances she is a very solid boat and could make a very affordable family cruiser or live aboard for someone willing to put in the time to refit her down below, repaint the decks and tidy the top sides. She is on the hard in Gosport so is in the ideal place to work on her and the yard could assist.The mast and boom are in the mast rack in the yard.Zephyr has 2 heads, double fore and aft cabins, a pilot berth, saloon, galley, large navigation area and a decent sized engine room. She has a Yanmar 48 which worked very well when last run five years ago. She carries about 600l of diesel. Not sure how much water, but a lot (the water tanks would benefit from having a liner fitted, or being cleaned).I have spent about £50k on this boat so this is an opportunity to snap up a realistic project with all the heavy lifting already professionally done and the interior fit it and cosmetics to finish off.Slipper 42’s are fantastic blue water cruisers. Zephyr herself has circumnavigated and completed a couple of Atlantic circuits as well as spending many years as a sailing school yacht in Jersey.
