BARGAIN! RELISTED, PRICED TO SELL!I have been aked by my good friend and sailing buddy Roger to sell his much loved dutch built Botta ,(Cygnet) Roger is an Internet virgin and tthinks Ebay is a sailing destination on the south coast so has in trusted me to find a new home for this lovely little boat, I can answer all questions and know the boat very well myself however if you wish to speak with Roger I can give you his contact number and of course it will be him you will do the final transaction with.Well about this boat, its a 24ft (minus bow sprit) all steel construction Botta ,some say a Tajk built in 1985 in Holland, Roger and his wife inherited the boat and it has been in the family for a number of years, but regretfully the time has now come to let it go. Rodger is no spring chicken and with 2 boats in his fleet he wishes to spend his retirement doing more sailing and cut down on the maintenance and cost of of owning 2 vessels.Cygnet was a premium build in the 1980S with lots of lovely teak and some really nice finishing touches like leaded glass sky lights and cabin doors, there is even a carved lion on the tiller , regarding the tiller you have a choice of steerage, either a traditional ships wheel or tiller,Cygnet has a Gaff rig with wooden blocks and traditional ropes, as well as the sails they all seem to be in good order.She has a Volvo Penta 2002 series 2 cylinder diesel engine which has just had new raw pump impeller bearings and seals, pluss fuel filters oil filters and oil.Cygnet has a solid wood burning stove and I kid you not it works well, you can find Roger in mid winter sat in his underpants with all the windows and doors open , Shocking !I will be totally honest!, Cygnet has come to a point in her life where she needs some TLC and a new owner who can bring her back to her high standard and originality , she is getting a little tatty around the edges but by no means over the edge , at this price range Im sure with work your money would be very well spent and you would have a cracking little boat Cygnet gets plenty of attention where ever she goes, over the last 6 or so years she has sailed the river Humber which she is well suited to, she only draws 2ft and can dry out any where .She has lee boards unfortunately they are not in to good shape but cygnet surprisingly,sails very well with out them, so they have just been left ashore, the yard here could repair them if the new owner wished.I dont beleive anyone would buy a boat without veiwing, and I encourage them to do so, and saying that I cannot take any bid serious if there is no contact with me ( sorry honest bidders will understand) Please dont haggle on the starting bid, as its woth keeping if we cant improve on that, where possible for any one showing a real interest we can go out for a sail in this fantastic weather ,she is lying south bank of the Humber, please call me for details, or any other information .0 7 9 3 9 -5 1 8 1 8 1 1On behalf of Roger and myself thank you for looking.Please be aware, as described in listing this boat needs some work to bring it back to its former glory so please dont come and tell me what I aready know, it has been relisted for just that reson after a month of being fexable and wateing for collection.Please do not haggle as it worth every penny.If you dont know your boats please bring with you somone who does, please no dreamers, sorry this has to be said.
