Shapely 17 foot traditionally styled boat ideal for gentle Sailing, Rowing, Fishing, (16ft7″ plus a short 4″ bowsprit).Believed to be a Sussex Cob, moulded by either Salty Yachts or Pearsons (thank you for the information Vince)Great stable boat for pottering, sailing, fishing or family trips. A similar style of boat to the small drascombes, picarooners and cobles, not the fastest boat on the water but fun for the family in sheltered waters.Glass fibre hull and deck in original gelcoat. Age is an estimate.Floor painted in non slip international deck paint.Hull has never been antifouled as has not been left on a mooring.Has a well for an outboard engine, laminated tiller curves over the top so rudder can be used with engine up or down.Rudder is hung aft of the well, and lifts if necessary for drying out or shallow water.Wooden mast, boom and gaff, sails are orange/red and are compatible with a mirror dinghy, ( numbers now removed)New shrouds, forestay, mainsheet, steam bent gunnels, thwart etc.Centreboard is a galvanized plate and moves freely. Bilge pump. Belay pins for halyards. Some light scratches to the hull and there is discoloration in places in the blue gell coat. Comes with a trailer, which supports the boat well with many rollers and winch. The tyres have plenty of tread but due to age might best be replaced.Has buoyancy bags and foam under the seats.Comes with rope, chain and anchor.Works best with a 4 to 6hp long shaft Outboard (not included in sale)Collection from Abergavenny South Wales, possibly could deliver to south Devon by prior arrangement.Viewing welcome, to ask any questions please call me 07868654934Only selling due to young daughter needing more garden space.
