I am selling my Tornado 720 sailing boat built in 1980, LOA 7.2 Beam 2.4 Draft 0,9. Brought this over a year ago with the full intention of updating the inside, taken out of the water last autumn onto hard standing to repaint and varnish the interior, renew the cushions etc. I made a start in rubbing down the inside but it had to take the back burner as l moved house, after moving we had the first lockdown due to covid also the boatyard closed, l now live over 100 miles away, with work and travelling time l am finding it difficult putting the time in to complete the work, when taken it of the water l had it washed and scrubbed in readiness for anti fouling in the spring but with the yard closed never got round to it. I am in two minds about selling it as l still dream of sailing the waters but its looking more unlikely and l fear that it will sit there when it really needs to be sailed, so l’d rather sell it and with a little TLC it can be back on the water for next season.
