Private sale of well cared for Westerly Centaur (B Layout).This yacht has been well maintained throughout her life. A new Beta 20hp Beta diesel engine and gearbox was fitted at considerable cost in 2013. This was complemented by new wiring, exhaust and 10 gallon fuel tank. This engine has covered very low hours since being fitted – less than 50 hours. This lovely yacht comes with a folder of receipts covering work done over the years including the replacement of the engine. The main battery and the impeller were replaced last year.The sails were removed the year before last and sent away for checking over and laundering by a local sail maker.All the rope-work, including halyards and reefing lines were replaced last year. The boom is fitted with lazy jacks and the jib has self furling gear fitted. All lines run aft to the cockpit.The cockpit has recently had new cushions and the rudder has been fitted with a tiller tamer. The cockpit is sheltered by a spray canopy and dodgers to either side. There are 2 Lewmar winches to either side with a further two winches on the cabin top. There are 3 winch handles and an assortment of winch handle pockets around the cockpit.The cabin is in excellent order. The main cabin headlining has been replaced. A new Origo spirit hob has been installed – this has never been used. The upholstery and occasional cushions are in excellent condition. The curtains were replaced last year. There is a sea toilet and hanging space.
