Westerly Cirrus 22 foot sailing boat designed by john butler built 1970’s
I have owned this boat for nearly ten years, during this time I have I have put my heart and sole into making her as good as she is today, with vast amounts of money spent on the engine and gearbox overhaul, professional repaint of hull, and much much more, she is a great cruiser and sailer with a large cockpit and plenty of head room inside, these boats are well known therefore you can find plenty of information online about these boat so just google to learn more, they are solidly built and this one is just that.
The boast is located in a berthed marina in Southampton which is great for easy access to the solent and the isle of wight, this mooring can be kept on if required.
This sail boat is ready to be used, all sails and rigging is in great condition, navigation lights, depth sounder, speed log and vhf radio all working fine.
Inboard engine – Volvo md1b ( 10 hp )
Engine has been overhauled with no expense spared, injector pump and injector reconditioned and recalibrated last year, gearbox also overhauled and works perfectly, this engine has been winterised correctly every year and has never let me down.
I have uploaded as many pictures as I can but viewing is recommended before bidding, this can be arranged for most evenings or weekends.
I have put so much of my time and money into this boat so the decision to sell has been difficult, she is not a perfect boat but not far off it in mu opinion, clean, tidy and ready to go sailing, the interior is in very good shape but as with a boat of this age there is also room for improvement here and there.
If delivery is required I will be happy to help but delivery is not included in the price.
