Westerly GK24 “Phaon”
1978 Westerly GK24 in good overall condition and ready to
sail having had many upgrades over the last 2 years. All that is really left
for the new owner to do is to paint the deck and some of the interior if you
are fussy.
She has an Yanmar 1gm10 inboard
diesel which runs beautifully having recently had a new
cylinder head, exhaust elbow
and thermostat.
She has fin keel with a large transom
hung rudder which makes her very manoeuvrable in tight marinas. These yachts
are well known for their sailing ability and Phoan won’t disappoint. She points extremely well and
can sail in very light airs.
