All documentation for her are in order and all instruction manuals are in place. Standing rigging changed in 2015! My memories of sailing with my dad stuck with me and I wanted to own a larger yacht that we could have some adventures on and revisit the times shared, and also that I would also take her further afield. I know they say once you learn how to ride a bike you don’t forget – I guess the same goes for sailing. The first 38 range of yachts are solid boats and very simple to sail, I had no lessons about sailing except a strong desire to read as much as I could and watch a lot of sailing videos – now after half a dozen short handed sails with my Dad and girlfriend, I often take her out single handed and the last photo shown is myself sailing her solo and flying a drone. Back when Beneteau were bringing out Back this Jean Berret classic designed yacht they over engineered the construction making them a very strong and solid offshore classed boat. With a 12.8 ft beam and over 6ft head room there is loads of room inside. I have considered living aboard her as she is so comfortable and this would make an easy live aboard for couples and small families and everything needed for this is ready. Here is a link to an article by Liz and Andy Copeland who have sailed 70 000 miles around the world in their first 38 and have written 4 books and several arcticles about their adventures – this article, various reviews and seeing the boat for the first time sealed my choice when I bought her.http://www.nealalexander.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/ben38.pdfSadly my Dad is not able to sail anymore and my adventures are temporarily taking me on a different journey, but when the time comes for me to sail again this will be the first yacht I will be looking for. All questions can be answered within a few hours, Viewings and inspections are welcome at Swansea Marina most days with myself at agreed times. £250 deposit at time of sale – bank transfer for remainder of sale price.Buyer arranges collection and delivery etc.Good luck!
