This boat has been very well looked after. Every winter for the last 6
years it’s been taken out of the water and stored in a dry barn. Full servicing
then carried out by a professional Outboard engineer with any issues (and there have been very few) fixed. She had a fresh covering of anti-fouling last
year, this is wearing away so would need to be done again at the end of the season. The hydraulic tilt and trim system was rebuilt by Gillingham Chandlery
last season. Works perfectly.
This has been a great hobby for my family, they are now finding their
own interests, so I am selling as it’s not getting the use it deserves.
First off, safety is paramount. My family comes first so I have almost
every item you need to be as secure and safe as possible when going out on the
water. If you are looking to buy this so use with your family then it’s ready made.
Included is a Garmin 557xs with rear transducer.
These are a fantastic bit of kit and over 700 quid on its own. Also has the
Blue Chart g2 Vision update.
Everything you see in the pictures and description comes with it. I
would never put my kids at risk, hence the sheer number of gadgets and
precautions I have purchased. Any trip is done with a huge amount of
confidence that nothing will go amiss and plenty of back-up if they do.
The boat itself has no leaks, holes, major damage etc. It has a new
marine carpet, new fixed chairs (driver and passenger) with a removable
backseat (pictured). Wiring checked and double checked as well as a new
Teleflex No Feedback steering system. These are fantastic and gives you
ultimate control with added safety. The Suzuki DT140 EFI outboard is electric
tilt and trim with no issues or warnings and runs perfectly with a raced
modification by the Outboard Specialist (The cowling has been resprayed so no
stickers). It performs meticulously and
can be seen running in a tank and pressure on all 4 cylinders in below links to videos.
When fishing on my own or with a couple friends i remove the seats so
there is more room. There are 2 rod holders (1 each side) for added
convenience.
This boat can cruise all day long at 30 knots and i have taken her up-to
44 knots when flat conditions have allowed. She is kept in Gillingham Marina
during the summer (locked basin) so has never sat on the mud as per tidal
moorings.
Constantly flushed with clean water and SaltAway over the winter period
keeps her running smoothly along with the services.
The trailer was completely refurbished at the end of the 2016 season. It
is a braked trailer, these all work, with security locks and new wheels (see
photos). I have taken this on a 450 mile round trip with absolutely no issues.
The only item that does not work is the tilt and trim gauge as the arm is busted. I do have a new spare arm (included) but having already gone through 3 of these (they are not cheap) and each one has
broken off , I must be doing something wrong. So i have left this one for someone who can fit them correctly.
Listed below are ALL the items you get with the boat, if a miss anything
then the pictures will show them for me. I have additional photos if you need any
more detail.
