For sale is my 17ft fletcher boat with a 140 mariner outboard on it. We’ve owned this boat for a numerous amount of years now and it’s only been used a handful of times as we haven’t really had time to use it. The last time we took the boat out it all worked fine. Since then we put it in a boat yard to store, then moved it back to our garage and now doesnt work. I don’t know what this boat needs doing, but this would make an easy project for someone who knows what they are doing. The boat was always winterised and cleaned after use. It has not long been painted underneath so that won’t need doing. Prior to incident with the engine, everything worked fine including the electric up and down lift for the outboard. Bodywork is solid and tidy, and it seats 5 people. I know that these mariner 140 outboards are reasonably expensive when working so grab a bargain.It needs some time and tlc to get this boat going again but will defiantly be an easy fix for someone with knowledge of boats.
