A strong well built Sports Boat on a 4 wheel trailer. The previous owner spent in excess of £5000 reconditioning the engine back in 2005 but it needs doing again.I have had this for about 5 years in storage ready to start as a project boat to completely refurbish but along with other commitments I am realistically never going to get round to it. I love classic boats and cars and would classify this as one being a 1985 Formula F20. The exterior of the boat itself is in fair condition and would clean up well externally with a good blast with a pressure washer. The Hull and exterior of the boat are still in very good condition with the odd scuff here and there. All of the external chrome fittings are still there as is the Bimini framework but the cover needs replacing. The interior although mostly all there but is grubby and requires a thorough deep clean. The carpet is still in place but I would suggest needs replacing. I have the original cover for the boat but they have shrunk a little so are tricky to get on but these could easily be used as a template for a set of new covers.The inboard engine is a 488 Mercruiser (188HP) 4 stroke petrol engine and requires a complete over hall. Just prior to me purchasing the boat it had new trims installed but they have never been used (as far as I am aware).I have had a specialist look at it and he can rebuild the engine as is but he does need to remove it which in turn throws up further complications for me with space. So it has to go. There is no water in the engine and he has turned it by hand. I know nothing about engines but he says it can be done. The 4 wheel trailer which is included is in overall good condition and works fine with the hand winch etc. (22ft Length X 8ft Width)I have the original manual along with a file full of receipts from previous works carried out It will be a shame to see this one go as I would love to get it done an refurbished but have to be realistic with timeframes etc.Happy bidding !!!
