You can tell that this has been a cherished family boat, maintained with no expense spared. It’s a complete boat inc mooring lines and fenders with nothing to add other than fuel and water!
Full cover, towing straps, trailer board and prop bag included so it’s ready to tow away.
Second owner since new, first owner used it on a fresh water lake only. I’ve owned this boat since 2017 and have used it on the Dorset coast 4 days a year on average. Engine flushed out and boat washed down with fresh water after every use. Engine has been winterised and the boat stored undercover in the winter every year.
Trailer bearings serviced every winter also.
Condition:
The hull and interior is in remarkable condition given its age, largely due to fresh water use, dry storage and meticulous maintenance after all sea water use.
Most of the boat is original apart from consumable parts which have been replaced as listed below.
Interior trim is still supple and not brittle with only a few marks.
All mechanical parts are fully functional and reliable, which is important to me since we use the boat at sea.
Bad points:
Carpet peeling at the edges
Wheels are rusty but perfectly safe
Front screen is crazing but you wouldn’t really notice as you don’t look through it and its tinted
Typically uses one tank of fuel a day for general speeding about with 4 people in the boat and a bit of towing of inflatables and wakeboarding.
24 lites @ £1.50/l = £40 inc oil
Roughly 650kg inc trailer so hardly noticeable to tow behind anything like an estate or bigger. Has fantastic leaf sprung suspension which is perfectly matched to the weight of the trailer so rides really nicely. Also includes break back Snipe trailer which is invaluable when recovering at low tide with little water at the slipway.
Easy to handle and launch by one person due to its weight and size. Makes for a perfect first boat!
