Welcome to the sale of a nice condition Bayliner Capri speedboat built in 1997I last had it on the water summer 2016, since then it has been in the secure boat yard in Stranraer.It has the 3 liter petrol Mercruiser inboard engine with Alpha 1 outboard leg. Engine oil was changed when I laid it up and the alpha leg has been overhauled with a new water pump.I have all the cushions for the cuddy cabin, they are faded but ok (boat is 21 years old)The canvas cover is in good condition, couple of press studs missing, but all zips fine.When I bought the boat ( around 9 years ago) it was a bit rough but I renewed the main floor with fiber-glassed in marine ply, flushed out the fuel tank while the floor was out and renewed the seats.The previous owner was using it for sea fishing so there are rod holders where the aft bench seats would be. I have the seats.Instrument panel is ok, rev counter and speedo are a bit erratic but everything else is working.There is a working Eagle Fish Finder/depth sounder, there is also a Nexus NX2000 VHF radio which was working when I was using the boat but won’t switch on now – could be anything.Boat has a height adjustable outboard motor mount and there is a 10hp Suzuki 4 stroke outboard with fuel tank included in the sale.Also included will be 6 lightweight life-jackets ( they will need to be serviced), a decent sea anchor a couple of inflatable fenders and a few mooring ropes.I have been slowly tidying the cabin trim on the boat and there are still a few bits where the wood backing has come away from the vinyl at the aft end of the boat. Not a big job to renew. I also have a set of decals for the hull.There was a car radio with fitted speakers but this is not working.I ran the engine yesterday with a water muff on the drive. All running well and pumping water. Trailer is the original un-braked version. Wheels ok, new tyres fitted two years ago. Will include the trailer board. I usually tow it behind a van but I have moved it with an Astra Estate without any problem.All in all a good usable boat for an enthusiast which will not take much to bring it up. (first photo was at start of season 2016, it polished up well. Rest of photos were taken yesterday in boat yard).I am located in Stranraer, South West Scotland.
