Classic Broom Aries with great lines. Ideal boat for sea, lake or river. Light and easy to launch. Excellent ski boat. Not used for a while and another winter has passed me by without getting round to getting her ready to use! The seats need new foam and upholstery, as does the trim around the inside of the boat (I have the old originals as patterns). I also planned to re – carpet the floor and fit a new steering wheel. There shouldn’t be anything wrong with the engine that a good service can’t sort out. It was always a reliable unit with loads of power. It automatically mixes the oil to fuel. It has electro hydraulic trim adjustment. The boat would benefit from a good machine polish or I had wondered about getting it wrapped.The Aries is a lovely looking boat and there are still a few about. I’m told they are becoming sought after and collectable even. Sadly I think my skiing days are over so here’s an opportunity for someone else to have some fun with her.
