Classic Fletcher Arrow 15′ sitting on a superb 4 wheel trailer with a VERY rare Mercury 140hp with electronic ignition (no distributor).

BOAT
Fletcher Arrow 15′, flared bow making it quite a dry ride in rough conditions, newly fitted floor, the floor has so far been fibre glassed in and anti slip epoxy coated, side panels and front swivel seats now fitted. Steering fitted and works fine. Jobs to do:- make new backrest to rear seat (vinyl supplied), mount controls, fit fuel tank and rebolt trim/tilt pump in situ, reconnect steering arm. Think that’s about it (sorry if I’ve missed the odd thing out), it’s now only a small project.
There is still a little work to do on the topsides of hull but nothing a weekends work wont sort out. These hulls give a great ride in choppy conditions. Complete with alloy fuel tank.
ENGINE
‘Tower of Power’ Mercury 140hp, 1979, equal compression on all cylinders. I haven’t tried starting the engine but can’t see any major faults, good spark.
The power trim/tilt pump and excellent control box and cables all present. The gears engage easily and throttles open and close as they should. As I haven’t started the engine myself I must sell as spares or repair but if no sale is made I will spend more time getting it running. Similar straight 6 cylinder Mercs sell for upwards of £650, this also has control box and cables (£200?).
These engines are bullet proof—I know a chap in Nottingham/Leicester area who has loads of knowledge and spares if you ever get a problem.
TRAILER
4 wheel trailer with independent suspension units, Mini light style alloys with almost new tyres.
The alloy mudguards are strong enough to stand on to gain access to the boat.
Excellent winch and jockey wheel and a robust Bradley coupling (new). Trailer worth £600 all day long.
Only selling as I also have a classic Shakespeare Ski Tender and don’t have room for both.
Just painted new floor and ready for carpeting to be fitted if you prefer, seats and side padding fitted and photos to be updated.
