On hold for viewingThis lovely little Sorcerer package has been described by Classic Boat enthusiasts as probably the best of its type available – I’m reluctant to sell – only because I have run out of space.Originally purchased because the package is nice and light, easily managed, moved and launched by one person. 12ft 3 ins but often called Sorcerer 13!I’ve owned her for 4 years having bought her from the only owner. She is in original red gel coat finish, no worries with the floor or transon (These Scorpio’s have a molded grp floor, – no ply) built in buoyancy is fitted in grp tanks for and aft)She has a rare and immaculate 1969 Red Band Mercury 500SS (Thunderbolt Ignition) Short Shaft 4 Cylinder motor that has had fresh water use only – the engine was an exhibit in a dealers showroom for over 25 years (the engine alone is unique and worth over £750) – fitted with a bronze racing propeller and correct Mercontrol. I searched high and low for the correct Mercury jeweled Tachometer – which is brand new and now fitted. The boat speed has been measured with 1×15 stone person aboard at 39.6 mph, could be more with some prop tweaking! Most of the upholstery and backing boards are new – All done with correct marine ply with stainless staples – all of the fitting have stainless bolts or screws. The front seats are bolted through the floor with access hatches to fasteners. None of the upholstery shows any damage. There is a full waterproof cover that can be trailered and a lightweight waterproof tonneau cover. The trailer (the one in the last two pictures) is an almost new galvanised Benderup/Trident marine trailer fitted with all new bearings and two new (late last year) correct trailer tyres – plus a good attached sparecomes with lighting (7 pin) and straps – all you require is a number plateI hope the pictures tell the whole story. Although picture 1 is a “tad” grainy – I can assure you the foredeck is as highly polished as the other pictures. I would sell the boat and trailer as a package – as the engine is so good I would be happy to keep it. – The engine alone is not for sale. This boat was built to keep by a retired marine engineer – so the detail and build is all correct and not like some eBay speedboats that are banged together with cheap non marine parts by amateurs. She has been kept undercover in a dry garage – SW Oxfordshire OX13.Cash or Bank transfer only Thanks for looking
