The Chris-Craft Riviera was one of those classic boats built between 1949 to 1955. It featured three different sizes: 16ft, 18ft and 20ft. The 18ft and 20ft were the most popular causing a phase out of the 16ft.In 1955, people were seeking a faster boat wtih more stream lined looks. The Riviera was replaced by the Capri. The Capri is best characteristized as an extended Riviera with a bleached deck and a curved windshield.
