2001 Cruisers Yachts 2870 Express with a 4.2l 250hp Yanmar Diesel engine. Just under 1000hrs which may seem a lot but we purposely bought something that we knew had been well used after having a lot of trouble with previous boats with low hours and little use. We have owned this boat for 2 1/2 years and in that time spending a lot of money getting it up to the standard it is now. The engine starts first time every time and is very smooth.She is located in Torquay and is looked after by Dave from Coast Marine who will tell you that whenever something has needed doing it’s been done by him with no expense spared. In the last two years she has had:A new Mercruiser Bravo three leg (Jan 2018)New Upholstery (last month)New battery charger with two new batteries (June 2017)New Windlass (Sep 2018)New steering wheel (March 2017)Repairs to existing Camper covers ( they were next in line to be replaced.)She has just been lifted out, had new antifoul, been polished, and had new upholstery with both the leg and engine serviced and has been yearly during our time of owning. We chose this particular model after looking at a few 30ft boats and felt it gave us the maximum amount of living space for this size of boat. With the permanent V berth and sofa area it really does make good use of the space. Unfortunately because one of our children has become a teenager we really need the kids to have seperate beds so are looking to move up in size. This is our only reason for selling.
