I bought this speedboat at the very beginning of the first lockdown and have spent a considerable amount of time and money on it, it’s seen more soapy water than sea water!Originally it had a 30HP Yamaha which I upgraded last year to an Ex RNLI 50HP mariner Tohatsu (cost close to £2k as decent 2 strokes are hard to find), as it is an Ex-RNLI unit it was regularly serviced and is bombproof as it was tuned by Barrus to ensure absolute reliability, last year I also has it completely stripped by a marine engineer, the carbs cleaner and rebuilt as well as gearbox oil changed. As you can see these units were originally fitted with running hour timers and this one has only done 218.6 hours its entire life. It’s always been flushed with clean water after each outing and before winter was drained before being put to bed under her cover (also included).Boat is fitted with Tohatsu controls with cutoff switch, I also bought a brand new high capacity high cranking Amp marine Battery to ensure absolute reliability. Also included is a brand new fuel tank and fuel lines, GPS Speedometer (MPH) and USB Sockets for charging devices.Other new additions were new throttle and gear Teleflex cables, all of the trim was replaced with new marine ply covered in light blue hard wearing PVC.If she sells for asking I will also include the Garmin GPS Depth Monitor / fish finder. She will comfortably seat 4 with more than enough room for a picnic as well. The Bramber trailer is included and the wheel bearings were replaced and greased 2 years ago so should be good for a little while. The blue topcoat was repainted last year with Toplac marine paint.Just taken her cover off to give her a clean and take pictures, I primed her with fuel and had her purring away after a few minutes, more than happy to take a video of her running on muffs if you want to see. Please bear in mind she is not a new boat, there is some crazing / spidering to some of the body work, I have included some pictures, this is cosmetic but worth noting, The windscreen is also a bit misty, its never really bothered me but if you did want it replaced then a sheet of polycarb would do the trick perfectly. The passenger side seat is probably in need of replacement but again it’s not something I have gotten around to and the steering wheel is also looking a bit tired.I will be sad to see her go as she has provided us hours of run out at Weymouth bay especially being able to whizz around all the cruise ships. She is a nippy little vessel and will get around the 30 knots mark if the conditions are good.I think I’ve covered everything but if you have any other questions feel free to ask.
