Extreme 21 powerboat with Mercury v8 5.0 inboard and Alpha Gen2

Sitting on 4 wheel snipe trailer with recent new winch. Bearings were
done a couple of years ago but would change for new buyer if it was being towed
any significant distance for peace of mind.
Hull was built in 2006. Engine and drive are both also believed to be
2006 based on serial numbers.
Engine and drive have been serviced annually by myself. Recent plugs,
leads, distributor cap, oil, filters, drive oil etc. Always flushed and cleaned
down after use. Manifolds risers changed a few years ago (dry-joint type) and
recent new starter motor.
Matching white Faria gauges all work as they should. Also has GPS
digital speedo.
Carb recently professionally serviced (removed, fully stripped, cleaned
and rebuilt)
Stainless 23p prop.
Heavy duty trim tabs.
Straight through exhausts (sounds awesome – see video on you tube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrm198vbv14)
“Hot foot” foot throttle (but easy to switch to hand control)
Pop up cleats, electric bilge, interior and nav lighting
Carpeted cuddy that is fine for occasional overnight.
Used regularly in Solent waters. Handles Solent chop exceptionally
well.
The hull is based on the Ring 21E hull that was also used for the Honda
130 / 150 racing class so a fast but safe hull that is much beamier and has a
much deeper freeboard than narrower outboard rings and phantoms.
A fast boat and not for the faint hearted but being the small-block V8,
it is sensible and very good on fuel.
I have had several boats and this one really does offer a great balance
of being fast and reliable but also very useable. I was specifically looking for
an Extreme 21 for these reasons when I bought it and it took a while to source
one there simply aren’t that many of them about!
Boat is in good condition for age. Was used as recently as 2 weeks ago.
Base section of rear seating could do with refurbishment but apart from
that, interior is in good condition. Usual age related marks on hull but
nothing in particular to flag.
Viewing highly recommended.
Would be able to arrange a sea trial if required for genuine
buyer. Boat is located in Gosport.
Very reluctant sale but looking to upgrade to something a little bigger
and a little more sedate for the family.
