This is an superb Fletcher Arrowstreak 17GTS, (similar to that used in the James Bond ‘Live & Let Die’ movie) which I brought 18 months ago and had it professionally taken apart, refurbished and a sonar and Real Time Navigation unit installed. The engine was removed and fully serviced and the ‘Footer’ was disassembled and the gearing checked and refurbished. A complete new steering and throttle system was also replaced. I have over 9 invoices, (available) from “Marine Engineering” near Bangor, (North Wales) that show the amount of work and new fittings used which came to over £7’500 (this not including the sonar, CHIRP and Footer gearing refurbishment [These additionally came to nearly £3’000]). The boat was then winterised.During the last 16 months my health has deteriorated dramatically, the ramifications of a Traumatic Brain Injury, (TBI) and I will never be able to use the boat which travels at up to 60 knots on a 3 litre ‘Alpha One’ Engine; hence the sale.The boat also comes with a trailer, new fire extinguishers both in the cabin and in the engine bay which activates automatically. In addition, an full offshore flare kit is included. A grab bag, (with contents) and 4 x brand new self-righting life-jackets are available separately.All in all I have invested well over £19’000 in what was to be my dream boat but it is not to be!
