For sale is my fletcher speedboat with a mercury 140hp outboard engine. I bought the boat about 4 years ago and used a couple of times and just been stored since as I haven’t the time to use it! This boat will need work doing to it as the outboard engine does not run. Last time I got the boat out, the engine run but not that well! I took it straight to a marine engineer to check out what was happening! They fixed the problem but there was a discrepancy about leaving the boat there for a while and it turned into a big up roar! Long story short the guy was told to cut some wires on the engine which he did! I’ve also asked for the paper work for the work that was carried out but he would not hand it over. I don’t know enough about speed boats and engines to sort this myself so I just want the boat gone! It was always Winterized and flushed out after every use and had a yearly service too, it’s got electric lift to bring the outboard up and down, and the hull of the boat was re sprayed. Mercury 140 outboards are very expensive when working. This will be a great project and earner for someone who has the knowledge and time to do it! Don’t expect a brand new tidy boat as Work will need to be done. comes with trailer. Tyres are flat but just from sitting over time. They are not punctured. Viewing is recommended. thanks Tom.
