Fletcher Speedboat fitted with an Evinrude VRO 50HP outboard.
I used this boat on Lake Windermere throughout 2013. It has been parked up ever since as I was going to give it a tidy up, but due to a lack of spare time I just never got around to it. The boat itself is very tatty and requires a bit of a revamp. It has a new bilge pump to be fitted.
The Evinrude Outboard ran perfectly all the time it was in use. I have recently put a battery on it and it fired straight up, but would cut out after 3 or so seconds. I have not had time to investigate further, but I suspect that the carburetter system may need a clean out, or that the fuel pump is playing up. I will hopefully get time this week to see if I can get it running properly. There is also a storage cover that covers the engine.
The trailer has had 2 new wheels & tyres fitted last year which are yet to see the road.
