I’m selling my sought after Fletcher 19GTS.Fletcher 19GTS SportscruiserMercruiser 3.0LX 4 cylinder Petrol Alpha One Gen 2 OutdriveThe following work was carried out in May 2021Outdrive (upper and lower) replaced with refurbished unit with new impeller, lube and anodes.New OEM Bellows fitted.Replacement Steering Ring fitted.New Gimball Bearing fitted New Battery. New Alternator Belt Refurbished Prop with new hubOriginal Cockpit table.Original Anchor light.Stereo/Radio with marine speakers Bilge pumpMotor was fully winterised and fogged last winter. Oil and filter changed at same time.Boat has both a canopy style cover and a speedboat style cover.IssuesThe boat has a couple of mechanical issues that need resolving.Rather than get them done myself I would prefer to sell the boat ‘as is’ for the new owner to take care of.Engine weeps oil from the side of the engine (pushrod cover i believe it’s called). It’s not a big deal and may just need tightening onto the gasket but I haven’t touched it as it’s not even been enough to register at the dipstick.The 15amp ignition fuse under the dash blew recently. Once engine had cooled and fuse replaced it worked fine again. No idea why.Went down to the boat a few days ago to take it out and the starter motor solenoid now just clicks when you turn the key so I’m advised it is likely to need a new one.Boat has been in use all summer and ran well but unfortunately I’m not in a position to demonstrate the engine running so the boat is sold as seen. It is currently lying in Scarborough harbour and my emergency auxiliary outboard can be used to get the boat to the slipway and onto the trailer.The cosmetic condition is very good but when I was taking the battery off the boat recently I took a little chip (1.5cm x 0.5cm approx) out of the gelcoat in the cockpit with it being hard to lift over. Easily fixed but I was very annoyed with myself about it. I’ll get a photo of it when i can.The boat was used in fresh water on Windermere for many years before i bought it at the end of last season.All in all an excellent boat but with the usual niggles that Mercruisers give you but with lots of the worst and most expensive maintenance jobs done.The boat was previously owned by a director of PR Nautica on the south coast and in 2015 underwent a major refit. (details available on request).At that time the seats were also refurbished and are still in very good, clean condition.Trailer also included which was recently refurbished by the previous owner.Better pics to follow as and when possible.
