Maxum 1800 MX Bowrider Sportsboat (2007)FOR SALE: 2007 model Maxum 1800MX Bowrider boat. This runs the 3.0ltr Mercruiser engine with 135hp. She is good for 40-45 mph. Very stable boat with a wide beam. Great for family or watersports crew alike. This boat comes with a Wakeboard tower fitted. This has actually just been fully refurbed and freshly painted. Just been refitted. The boat bodywork is in great all round condition and has been polished since the pics. She is now gleaming. There are a few scuffs and scratches underneath, generally near the front where we have caught the trailer when coming out of the sea, but they are purely superficial and don’t look too bad. The interior of the boat again is in generally great condition. There are a few bits of upholstery that are showing signs of wear. The drivers seat has a section of stitching loose about 3″ long, and one of the rear seat pads has a bit of top layer cracked off. Again both of these are pretty minor issues. We are selling due to co owning the boat with another family and between us we have just outgrown her. But she has always been a great boat. Always been used in abersoch bay (North Wales). Currently at home address in Chester for any viewings. I would advise coming along to have a look if you are interested. The trailer is fully functional and tows really well, but as a new owner I would be tempted to get it serviced just for peace of mind. It is actually pretty new. Was brand new when we bought her 4 years ago, but obviously the salt water takes its toll a little over time and there is a little top rust on some of the nuts and bolts. The main trailer parts are galvanised so they are fine, also it is fitted with a wheel flush kit so they have always been flushed after use. The engine is a tried and tested boat engine that is fitted to pretty much every boat of this size so maintenance and parts are easily accessible. As part of a group of friends who own boats we have always maintained the engine ourselves between the group so it has had a new starter motor, and alternator not long ago, plus we had the carbs cleaned out at the beginning of last year. However we then didn’t use it all last season as we and other family had decided to sell so again, I would advise either getting a service done or if you are handy yourself, just give it the once over to be sure all is well, but in honesty it has always been a great little boat. Plenty of power for watersports and space for kids. The engine starts and runs fine. Can be seen running.Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions about the boat
