This is my picton 170gts (17ft) speedboat, I purchased and used the boat with my father for a while until he recently passed meaning I no longer have a vehicle suitable for towing and need to pay for funeral hence the sale.Overall it is usable and cleans up very nice, completely watertight, last used july/August down at lymington on the solent for the weekend and was bone dry, very very nippy, gets up on plain extremely quickly and handles lovely, very stable for a smaller powerboat due to hull setup. It has a rear bench seat with back that comes off to access battery box/electric breaker switch and fuses, currently using a seperate plastic tank, it does have a metal main tank but according to previous owner it always smelt of petrol when filled and suspected leak, will need removing and welding If you intend to use it. The original mercury speedometer and tachometer were working at time of use, nav lights were intermittent hence replacement units, the prop was replaced by old owner and is in very good condition, engine starts up on the button, strong water stream etc and very poky.The main floor plate will need replacing as starting to go soft as it was a temporary repair made by prev owner, it is just some form of wood wrapped it carpet but it works.Again this is a very functional and usable boat as it comes however it would definitely need a little work to make it pretty, trims are coming off and few tears in the interior pieces etc.Comes with a few random spare straps, ropes and an anchor etc whatever I find.I need it gone asap, I think it is priced fairly.Collection from Swindon, sn25.
