HiWelcome to sale of my speedboat which was a lockdown project to restore it to its former glory.The boat was completely stripped down and rebuilt using as many original parts as I could but also replacing parts that had deteriorated with new.For example the seats and linings were stripped back and replaced with new marine ply and foam and then recovered with original material. The engine is 50hp Yamaha two stroke that has been refurbished by Power Products Marine and it goes like a train. It will easily climb 4 people onto the plane and do 40 knots (50 with two) I have also stripped out the old pulleysteering cables and replaced with a Multiflex system which makes the boat handle extremely well at speed. The boat is a replica of the speedboat that Roger Moore jumped into at the crocodile farm in Live and Let Die. (Have a look on YouTube)I have a second project on now so I don’t have the space for this one. The trailer has also been stripped back and painted. I also renewed all the bearings. This is boat is ready to go, just hook it up take it a slipway and off you go.
Please remember that this is an old speedboat from the 1970`s and whilst it is good condition for its age, it is not in showroom condition,
and has all the scuffs and marks of a boat of its age.Thanks for looking
