Fully working and ready to hit the water tomorrow: Photos were all taken in Helston Cornwall last weekend. Very easy to use- a 7 year old can drive it (and well!) Was originally purchased in 1991 from Bristol Outboard and Inflatable on Gloucester Road, but spent most of its later life near a loch in Scotland before I brought it back to Bristol – the original owner found me online and passed on some of its history. I’ve owned it for the last 4 years- only selling as I don’t get to use it very often and parents don’t like it on the drive. Always been stored out of water- very clean.Evinrude 140hp 4 cinder 2 stroke petrol outboard. A very powerful and torquey motor- probably overkill for the size of the boat, but absolutely flies! Perfect for wakeboarding/water skiing as gets onto plane very quickly- you wont ever need to max it out! Electronic ignition – no carbs! Does have a VRO (electronic fuel / 2 stroke oil mixing) however I have always mixed manually. Extremely reliable motor- starts every time. Happily, take the family and friends out in open water without second thought.Good condition battery (~3 years old)Power tilt & trimElectronic startTwin electric bilge pumps12v power to dash (for phone charger/radios etc)Stainless steel ski pole (for Wakeboarding/towable etc)Backlit fuel, odometer & tilt/trim gauges. Has speed & fish finder/depth gauge but doesn’t always work.Stainless steel propStainless fuel tank mounted in front (~70L)Motor flush muff & new cover included.Original manuals for outboardSpare ignition/starter and odometer unit (donated by local lifeboats)Galvanised trailer in good condition. Serviced this summer with new bearings- only been in the water once. Has new tow hitch (inc lock and brake assembly). Brakes not currently in use (just needs new shoes ~£40 – I don’t use them as tend to rust on over winter). I estimate to weigh around 1.2-1.4t- will need a reasonable sized car to tow. Has removable mounting for light board. Bad bitsLeather seating was retrimmed 4-5 years ago. Small tear on one rear seat (has a ugly duct-tape patch to stop it tearing any further- easily repaired.Could use a service/tune-up – bit smokey (It’s a 1990s 2 stroke!) has a bit of a flat spot around 3.5k rpm (easy to power through- just doesn’t like sitting there)Has some general knocks and scratches- it’s not brand new and been around since the 1980s!Bit of rust on the Trim pump case (works fine- £60 replacement if worried)Happy to answer any questions- welcome to come and view and see running. Collection ideally from Weston Super-Mare (nr Bristol) but could be arranged from Helston (Cornwall) or Cinderford (Gloucestershire).
