This boat is a “Circraft” from the sixties. The boat is supposed to have a 10 to 40hp engine, the engine fixed with no steering. The sailor stands and leans left and right to steer.I have added the two red keel plates (I guessed at their name) They are marine ply sealed with polyester resin. The front grab rail is missing. I tried this boat out on the canal with a 2.2 hp engine. It was difficult to steer and for a lower powered engine you will need some sort of a rudder and perhaps a device to hold the engine. I think once you get some speed up the keel plates give control and stability. The two red hatches are covers for the empty inside of the moulding. I have attempted to make a transverse seat but this is easily removed. There are a few YouTube films showing Circrafts in action. The trailer is good quality galvanised and has a spare wheel. This boat will give you endless fun!
