I believe this boat to be about 1962 and to be the Sapphire model. I purchase it in about 1982 and painted to lower part of the hull and inside. It is very solidly built. It has remained in my brother’s barn since about 1986. During this time the engine,gearbox, prop and 2 front seats have all disappeared.The engine was a Ford pre-crossflow1500cc and was quite adequate for pulling a skier.I fell in love with the elegance and simplicity of these boats having skid behind them.The trailer is a float on/off design and includes a long bar to connect to the tow ball to the car when launching/recovering.Also pictured are some of the fittings and also a dingy that we found in the barn which the winning bidder can have within the price should they wish.Any questions send me a text on 07803 903907.
