I think it’s a Shakespeare wave runner magnum boat
Engine says a Johnson Sea-Horse 75 and it’s a 2 stroke turbo if that
means anything to people!
Located – Warrington – North west UK
A quick overview: We have now brought it back from Wales –
we had plans to fix up more , tinker with it, tidy the paintwork and the seats up and go out to sea on it this last summer, but we
know little about boats and hardly been to Wales this summer so after being in
storage there it is now back in Warrington and it will sit on the drive over
winter instead!
over the summer holidays, we managed to get it to the coast to test it:
The engine run on land fine with the hose attached but when we got it in the
water, couldn’t get it into engage into gear. Boating dream over!
Not sure why. It has £20 of fuel in mixed
with the oil properly (this was done by the guy in the boat yard and he was around
on initial test with us)
Boat sounded great on land but in the water – couldn’t get into gear..
Would probably suit someone who knows about these boat engines.
As I say, I don’t know enough about boats for that and husband would
love to figure it all out, but has no time to tinker as works away 4/5
days a week and we don’t have a garage or shed to do this over the winter months..
It’s a boat, a trailer and an engine… hence why I listed it as Spares or Repairs ‘a project’ – fixer upper.
