‘Tip Sea’ is sadly for sale – My wife has said that she doesn’t enjoy it and given that you aren’t allowed to sell your wife on eBay, I have had to resort to selling my boat, as sadly it isn’t being used regularly enough to warrant keeping it.
‘Tip Sea’ is believed to have been manufactured in approximately 2006 in Poland and benefits from extensive seating (relatively comfortably 10 people can be fitted on board albeit the manufactures recommendation is six plus luggage; the most I have had is five adults and six children). One of the seats lifts up to provide a table, with many of the others having dry lockers underneath. In the center of the seating is a removable shelf and cushion which transforms the front from a horseshoe seating arrangement to a bed.
The engine is an Evinrude 2006 E-Tec, 75hp which packs plenty of punch. It pumps water through as it should.
Comes with a Garmin GPSmap 750s unit, mounted by the helm with a fish finder
Sold as running, but not revving up – I have had an outboard specialist look at it and he has said that it is a problem with the injectors and possibly the fuel pump, however this hasn’t been properly explored. Given that we are not using it due to my wife, I have lost the drive to get the problem fixed – she currently only revs up to approx. 10 knots, whereas she previously happily skipped along at 25 – 30 knots depending on the number of people on board. She gets up onto the plane at about 10 knots depending on weight in the boat.
There is a radio and speakers in the boat, however I have not had this working.
She comes with a barely used Indespension single axle trailer which has only been in the water a couple of time with me, and not once prior to that. It was properly washed off the two times it was dipped in the water. The trailer on its own is worth £2500 but is part of the package along with the boat.
The trailer that the boat is sitting on in the pictures is not for sale; this belongs to the club where the boat is currently stationed. She will be put back onto her own trailer ready for collection after the end of the auction.
Also with the boat is a ringo and ropes, meant for one person only, but I have had two on there. The boat easily tows this through calm or choppy water.
She was anti-fouled in 2017, with an engine service and a new cover as shown in the photos, a new fuel tank and battery.
