Shearwater 19 is an Aluminium
Speedboat that is unique, truly bespoke, brand new, with a Gucci style colour scheme. This is a rare opportunity to own a Speedboat/Runabout that stands out from the crowd, whilst also being easy to
handle, berth and very user friendly. She is ideally suited to Lake boating and
inland waterways or as a marina runabout. Hand built to perfection over the last three years, she would sit perfectly on an Italian or Swiss Lake. CE marked and RCD (category D) compliant. Being aluminium she is low maintenance and will last a lifetime.
Seating three in the front cockpit and two in the aft cockpit, she has the unusual addition of sunbeds over the engine hatches. The central inboard 135hp Mercruiser (3 litre)
petrol engine and conventional shaft drive via a ZF gearbox, making her economical to run.
The eye catching colour scheme is a luxurious cream colour, complimented with racing green and a burgundy accent, similar to classic Gucci. Matching upholstery has seating with a diamond stitch pattern. The sophisticated mahogany dashboard, mahogany rubbing strip and stainless steel trim completes the elegant look.
The dashboard incorporates all
the engine instruments RPM/Oil pressure/Volts/Temp) and speedo, fuel gauge, as
well as built in compass, engine hour meter and safety lanyard/kill switch. A HawkEye digital depth gauge also reads air and water temperature as well
a shallow water alarm. Waterproof dash switches control instrument lights,
navigation lights, cockpit (forward & stern) LED courtesy lights, depth
gauge and engine room blower.
The stylish mahagony Osculati (Italian) steering wheel has stainless steel spokes, with a Vetus Hydraulic steering system installed. The dashboard has two integral boxes built in. One houses a DAB
radio and two 12v charging points, one being USB and the other a conventional
cigarette lighter socket. It has space to store a handheld VHF, mobile phone or
tablet and wallet & keys etc. The second integral box is suitable for storing drinks or whatever else is required. The fuse box is mounted underneath the
dashboard.
There is a bespoke highly
polished stainless steel (316) rear view mirror centrally mounted on
top of the dashboard, combined with a central windscreen support
bracket.
In the drivers side panel the CE
plate is mounted along with bilge pump control with auto/manual options.
Adjacent to this are the engine hatch switches. The engine hatches are operated
individually by electro/mechanical actuators. Underneath the drivers seat is
the master switch as well as emergency battery charging points.
On the deck there are mahogany
step plates, and all the mooring cleats are the pop up type. There are
detachable fender mounting eyes. Adjacent to the engine hatches are grab rails,
and the removable sun beds sit in between these rails and are secured with
poppers. There is a removable anchor light socket on the aft deck as well as
the fuel filler. All fittings on the boat are marine grade 316 stainless steel.
In the engine room there are two
12v 100amp/hr batteries. There is also a built in drip tray underneath the
engine that would hold all the engine oil should an incident occur and
to comply with EU legislation. There is an automatic fire extinguisher, engine
room blower (extract). The engine seacock is located adjacent to the
inlet water filter. Bilge pump and float control are also located in the engine
bay.
The fuel tank is located under the aft seat along with an
automatic fire extinguisher. In the adjacent storage locker is an emergency tiller
should the hydraulic system fail. A bespoke solid Aluminium hinged boarding ladder is mounted
on transom.
