This is a 1950’s speedboat made out of plywood sheets and hardwood frame, It has a thin decking of plywood and a small hardwood frame holding a new Perspex windscreen split in two by a small hardwood post on the bow deck. The aft deck is thin ply with a gap for the outboard to sit on a reinforced transom. The seats are plywood with a hardwood frame and covered with turquoise vinyl piped in white and backed with thin ply wrapped over a foam infill. One of the covers has been damaged and will need renewing with new vinyl (spare matching vinyl included in sale). I have painted the decking inner hull and seats with a stained varnish. The boat has a retro steering wheel with wire cables that will link to an outboard motor. It has no throttle linkage but has a reinforced mounting board for a throttle. The keel has been refurbished with new stainless steel screws and sealer under the keel band. The rubbing strakes have been painted and repaired in two places at the back on the starboard side and on the transom. The paintwork is sound but could do with a rub down and a new coat of paint to freshen it up. Last time the boat was launched it has no issues re leaks etc. It had a 15 hp short shaft two stroke engine coupled remotely to the drivers seat but this has gone and you would need to fit another outboard. It gets on the plane quite easily but was limited to river speeds. It has two hinged rowlocks that fold away but can be used to row the boat in an emergency.The trailer is included and is in good condition and roadworthy. It has a jockey wheel making it easier to move around. The frame needs a rub down and a new coat of paint. The wheels and bearings have been serviced and are in good condition. One of the plastic mudguards has a small crack which has been glued and taped. You will need a light board to transport the boat.
