SUNBIRD BARLETTA 204 SPORT WEEKENDEROur Sunbird Barletta is a lightly used, super family boat. It is versatile – excellent for towing a skier or water toys, ideal for fishing and has been used from time to time for overnight stays in the Helford River.Sadly, our family has dispersed to other parts of the world and age is taking its toll. So, with great reluctance, we have decided to offer her for sale.She is a very capable sea boat and has been very carefully maintained. The engine was fully serviced by a Mariner engineer earlier this year, who diagnosed a slight reduction in the power of the water pump. Therefore, a new pump has been fitted and everything is now running as it should.About 3 years ago, we applied a copper coating in place of the original anti-foul, which has proved to be an excellent addition and, reputedly, is good for another 7 – 8 years.When she is lifted out at the end of the season, there is virtually no growth and a quick pressure wash returns her to top spec.The original, integral tank – which was made of stainless steel – was showing signs of age. So, it has been removed and replaced by two Mariner 25l tanks, which are easy to change over.Obviously, there will be the odd age related mark here and there, but generally she is in very nice condition.She comes complete with an SBS 4 wheel fully braked trailer, which is the latest specification manufactured to European requirements. As the boat is craned in and out at the beginning and end of each season, the trailer has never been submerged and is in top condition.Check out YouTube video for Sunbird Barletta 204.
